My sister recommended Dr Smith years ago. I decided to make an appointment with him as well. I had been to see a couple of eye doctors since my move to South Carolina and I was not happy. I immediately felt comfortable in Dr. Smith's office, his receptionist was friendly and helpful and Dr Smith was talkative, friendly and knowledgeable, and it was not a situation where he was trying to sell me anything. Went in to ask for some help. Got a sand embedded into my eye and wanted to make sure it wasn’t scratched and sand was out. Was greeted with disdain and honestly a dismal, dismissive staff/lady. No one was in there but me and three employees. Her answer...booked solid. She offered no options and no care at all. Reason why eye doctors are losing. I left and suggest everyone do the same. Crazy grumpy and rude staff. I don’t leave reviews. Second in my life. Triple D. Dismal, disdain, dismissive. Stay away!
