I've made more progress through my trauma in two years with Dr. Perra than I had in 10 years with multiple different therapists and medications that never helped. He cared enough to look into things I found interesting in order to communicate better with me. As with all therapy, you have to do the heavy lifting yourself. He's not going to hand you easy answers that won't help in the long run. I would not recommend this doctor to anybody. He is highly insensitive, unprofessional, distant, and rude. A patient should NOT feel 10 times worse upon leaving the appointment than they did prior to arriving! He is strictly there for the money and and zero regards for the patients mental health!
