Dr. Friedman performed my SCS on 8/4. I had several questions prior to the surgery and scheduled an office visit. Instead of having me come in the office, he called and patiently answered all my questions (it was a long list) providing the assurance that I needed. The day of my surgery he made sure everything was in place for my aftercare, again giving me the assurance that I needed (I was so nervous). Robert Friedman done a spinal stimulator surgery on my mother and she was immediately paralyzed from the waist down. We told the nurse she couldn't move her legs, the nurse called the Dr. and he sent her home anyway, my sister and I worked with her through the night only to call an ambulance to have her taken back to Henry Piedmont where he removed the stimulator, admitted to our face that he didn't cut her wide enough for placement of the product and had to force it in.
