Called this guy a few years ago when I was looking for an estate lawyer. I asked him a simple legal question durring the interview process and he refused to answer unless we paid a large retainer first. I asked this same question to every other firm I was considering, and they didn't hesitate to answer. Ward has no interest in teaching you anything, but is clearly exaggerated his expertise and makes you think you have a larger issue. I had a simple tax question and went to Robert Ward & Assocites for consulting in 2017. I met with their lawyer Mr. Richard Chisholm. I have to say I am deeply disappointed. Mr. Chisholm charged a very high fee and gave me factually wrong information. Later that night, I did some simple googling, and realized he was wrong. My conclusion was also easily confirmed by other taxation lawyers.
