Dr. Blackburn threw out a tick I found on my leg and sent me on my way. He never put me on antibiotics as a protocol for lyme disease. Now I am living with chronic lyme disease for the past 6 yrs.
Like but doesn’t send perscriptions on time. Needs to sign and send throughout the day

Dr. Blackburn is rude, sarcastic and downright condescending at times. I would not recommend him for this reason. He was my parents and siblings doctor for a good amount of years. I left his practice because I did not like how he talked to me and he made me feel very uncomfortable. He does not like you to question him, his practices and diagnosis or challenge him when you are advocating for a loved one. Terrible bedside manner, barely listens, shrugs things off, acts like the patient is stupid to even ask a question.
Contrary to posting August of 2016 by another review...Dr.Blackburn to be on the "A" team...an exceptional primary care physician and having his undergrad in chemistry says it all. His listening skills and outstanding insight have been above and beyond any scope of definition!! He clearly has saved me from countless questionable specialists in the psychiatric domain...if not for his care, would be in a downward spiral.
I would not recommend Dr. Blackburn. He is not a good listener and has misdiagnosed myself and loved ones multiple times. He is very quick to dismiss your concerns and will try to bully you.
