Dr. Rothberg provided excellent and attentive care to my son over our eight-hour visit to the orthopedic immediate care center at NYU. He quite immediately gave his guess on the diagnosis, but pursued all possibilities. He weighed each consideration/test with real attention to how my son was presenting, and collaborated w other specialists at NYU. His diagnosis proved to be exactly right, and that spared us getting admitted to the hospital for more procedures. The sort of doctor you hope to encounter when you walk in!!

Horrible experience. As a woman, I have yet to find a male doctor that actually takes my medical concerns seriously. Dr. Rothberg is not one of them. He wrote my pain off and returned a completely inaccurate report back to me that explicitly says I "deny" many of the symptoms that are actually the main reason for my visit! He did not listen to my concerns, he was not gentle with my injury by any means, and I left the ER 4 hours later in tears feeling at a complete loss. Dr. Rothberg was an excellent diagnostician. His bedside manner was very emphatic. He even helped transport me out of the hospital on his own time.

Dr. Rothberg went above and beyond for me with a dislocated knee in the ER. Not only did he make me feel comfortable and made sure that i received all the necessary follow up he made sure that his resident understood why he was making the diagnosis and recommendations he did. I'm so glad that doctors like Dr. Rothberg are teaching the next generation of providers. Thank you! -TJ
