Wonderful treatment at Mercy South and Dr Duerr was great. Hospital was great. I’ve had 4 surgeries on this shoulder and this was so much easiest of them all.
I had a torn rotator cuff and wasn't able to move my arm backwards. Dr. Duerr did surgery back in November and I'm happy to say my arm is feeling great. Dr. Duerr discussed the procedure with me and answered all of my questions prior to the surgery. In the beginning I really was wondering if I'd ever get the full use of my arm and the strength back, but I feel like I'm fully recovered from the surgery. He was the absolute best! I couldn’t have chosen a better surgeon to do my son’s surgery. He came up with a plan and executed perfectly. When you find a doctor that has a love for the job that he does daily, this doctor is my top pick. My son had a complete ACL and Meniscus tear and he repair both.
I saw this physician for significant knee instability and difficulty walking, but received very little physical examination during the visit. My MRI was described as “wonky,” yet no repeat imaging or further diagnostic evaluation was ordered before I was referred to pain management.
