I was a patient under the care of Dr Briskin for several years on a concierge basis.In short, I don't believe he should be practicing medicine at this point.The hypocratic oath says, ' Do no harm'.Well, I was harmed. for almost 6 months every time I went to see him I complained about a total lack of energy. Correctly sent me for a calcium score test that unveiled serious heart artery blockage - referral to a great cardiologist and two life saving stents. A caring, concerned and competent physician.
Dr. Briskin is extremely knowledgeable and caring. I was having a heartache and he saved my life.
My wife and I have engaged Dr. Briskin as our concierge internist for two years now. He has been phenomenal during a period when we both suffered major illnesses, up to and including a full heart attack for one of us. We didn't realize beforehand just how important his ability to assess, monitor and direct our treatment would be, given the huge limitations of the current medical system. Dr. Briskin is a superior communicator and patient advocate. His office staff is very helpful and competent. I strongly recommend this practice.
Dr . Briskin saved my life by requesting more heart tests be preformed after the hospital sent me home. Dr. Briskin stayed with me for over a week until my release at the hospital. The doctor still sees me almost weekly monitoring my medicines and follow up testing.
I quit Dr. Briskin as a patient for two major reasons: first, he asked me which hip I needed replaced; then a few minutes later he asked, "which knee?" Second, I after lab tests, his office called to tell me to come in the next Monday for a review of the results. I asked if the phone call would do and was told I had to see him. This caused me to worry for the whole weekend. When I saw him the following week, I was told that all test results were normal. That ended it.

Unfortunately, we never seen a patient by the name Michael Elliser I am sorry to hear you had a poor experience at your Doctor's office. As a concierge physician, Dr. Briskin calls all his patients with lab results as they come in. None of our patients wait a whole weekend to talk to the doctor as all of our patients have direct access to Dr. Briskin's cell phone 24/7. We see our patients on the same day and our office wait time is minimal.
My husband and I recently became patients of Dr. Briskin. We were extremely impressed with the details and diligence he exhibited before we met him for the first time for an exam. Dr. Briskin asked for the names of all physicians we had seen in the past year and contacted them and ordered records before we met. Our son is a physician and he called him to introduce himself . There were doctors that we should have seen due to my husband's medical condition and they were now contacted.
