Very home-like atmosphere with a particularly pleasant host. The forested area surrounding the home abounds in wildlife, which can be seen from the windows all about the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return soon.
We had such a great time, what a spacious and comfortable getaway! The scenery was beautiful and we loved seeing turkeys and deer right outside the front door. Can't wait to return!
Had a great time at the home nestled in the wet mountain. the home is beautiful ,with the wildlife, so quit and relaxing. It make you appreciate the time you spend there to unwind and to refresh your self
Only spent one day and a night at this charming guesthouse but wish it could have been more! The Getaway is clean and comfy and large enough to not get in each other's way. The area is breathtaking and the epitome of a Colorado vacation at it's best! Will come back to stay another time! Steele, the caretaker, is the best host and makes everyone feel at home.
This is a beautiful place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Set amid the San Isabel National Forest, the only other visitors besides us were birds and small forest animals. The caretaker is very kind and welcoming, the accomodations were spotlessly clean and exceedingly comfortable - a true "homey" feeling that encourages you to relax and find peace among Mother Nature.
