We were recently in a bad car accident and our agent or local office doesn’t handle any of the claim. Everything is handled by a third party company and lines get crossed and there are delays in getting answers. Some things are covered under auto, some on homeowners and then bodily injury- all the same accident but handled by all different departments. Very frustrating. Wife and I stopped down at the American Family office in Platteville, WI a few months ago. We sat down and went through our insurance coverages to be certain we were adequately covered. We ended up increasing property insurance slightly, and adding comprehensive to our truck. Good visit, nice people
