I called to ask why my bill was increased 50%, and was told basically everyone's increased that much in NYS. I then increased my deductible from $500 to $1000, to bring the amount down close to where it was. Two months later my bill went up 40%, because as Nikki said, they basically asked NYS to increase and were approved.
