If you are looking for the best roast beef sandwich in Portland, Maine, you have to check out Roasty's.I ordered the classic roast beef sandwich, a side of haystack fries, and a Coke. Came in on a Saturday mid-afternoon for lunch. Ordered the French dip and malt&salt shoestring fries. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. The food was delicious. Will definitely return.

I live in the north shore and am a roast beef sandwich connoisseur. Georgios in Brockton has always been my #1. Goat city in Norton has adopted the James River and they have climbed up the list. But what I had tonight at Roastys in Portland Maine, was a different level. The pinnacle of a roast beef sandwich!
