My husband has been sitting in ER with a young man who was in a vehicle accident this afternoon in the Alleghany Highlands. The rescue squad started an IV and bandaged him and he had been sitting in ER for over 5 hours. The nurse told him an hour ago there were 3 patients ahead of him...my husband has counted 10 have gone ahead of the injured young man since that time.
