Like so many of the reviews say, Eric is indeed a lifesaver! Call Roanoke Cycle Sports Inc. FIRST; don't waste your time calling Roanoke or Salem VA dealerships. Great mechanic and a true biker who appreciates what it's like to be stuck on the side of the road on a long ride. It is great to know that shops like this are still out there.
Eric is a lifesaver. Last morning of a trip riding around W&J National Forest and my bike would not start. After a few hours of troubleshooting on my own I gave in and had it towed to Roanoke Cycle Sports, and boy am I glad I did. Eric dropped everything he was doing to help me diagnose and fix what turned out to be a faulty petcock diaphragm that had allowed my engine to completely flood with gasoline. Whoever answered the phone was extremely rude. All I wanted to know was if they had a carburetor I needed in stock. He proceeded to question why I needed one and questioned my ability to repair a carburetor myself. Told him that I was competent enough to rebuild a carburetor and he questioned what I did for a career. I didn’t tell him on the phone but I was an aircraft mechanic for 6 years.
