Lunch yes, Dinner no – We ate lunch there on a recent scouting trip for our wedding and loved their LUNCH menu. The food was wonderful and we thought we had found a great jewel. Experience the true OBX! – I have been going to the Roadside Grill for the last year. I am from West Virginia and just went this week. The new menu selection was great. Dinner menu was above par for most places on the Outer Banks. I had the "Beet Vinagrette and Puppy Drum". Not What It Used To Be. – Let me begin by saying that my wife, children and I have enjoyed our family getaways to Duck, NC for quite some time now. We have always included lunch and/or dinner at 'The Roadside' as part of our Outer Banks experience. Best in Duck (without a doubt) – The Roadside was once a secret. Now there are lines. That's for a good reason...the food, service and atmosphere (upstairs) are the best in town. Start with a couple appetizers - the chowder rivals that in New England and the shrimp and grits plate is different (in a very good way!). Roadside is a WIN-WIN – Every time I go to the OBX, I visit Roadside. Friendly, fast, and quality food, not to mention the value price tag. My girlfriend got the Prime Rib Sandwich and I got the Blackened Tilapia Sandwich, both were mouth watering and the homemade potato salad is out of this world. It was a bit cool to sit outside but during the warmer months, the dining porch is excellent. I HIGH recommend going here.
Good every time! – We live in Delaware and visit OBX once a year. We always make a point to eat at the Roadside....the food is fantastic and staff is always friendly. We actually went there twice in one day our last trip...lunch and then dinner.
