Requested Dr Britt to come last week to check my horses teeth has not been gaining weight and wanted him to float his teeth. Dr Britt gone out of his vehicle told by daughter in law he hated coming to my home because of the horses. Told her Sport the horse should just be put down. He killed my friend's pig because he didn't know the anatomical difference between a full-size pig and a mini house pig. This poor thing died horrible, terrifying death. No animal should have to experience this and no family should have to see this.
Incompetent veterinarian that commits malpractice by performing surgeries he is not familiar with. Pets have died. Do not use this vet!
Larry Britt has a well documented history of negligence and causing the deaths of animals. He did it again yesterday. He incorrectly performed a castration on a pig and perforated the abdominal wall causing the intestines to fall out. He took an hour to respond to the horrific scene and the pig ended up dying a horrific death. His license in Florida is currently on probation and he is no longer licensed in Alabama. This guy should not be allowed to practice at all.
This vet has had complaints before, this person should not be in practice. He caused the death of a pet pig. Dont let your beloved pet be next.
So my friend had this vet come to fix their pet and they literally killed it. They are very distraught and from my understanding the vet was extremely unapologetic
We called Roadrunner Vet in Plant City, FL. At first they said $200. When I called back about a month later to schedule his appointment I explained Tommy is a house pig and they said it would only be $105,and they would just come to our home. This "veterinarian" killed my friends mini pig through neglect and inexperience. Today we found out he has done this type of thing before and that he was reported in 2008 and 2011.
