This place is amazing! We have been traveling Route 66 and this is, by far, our favorite stop yet! Each room is unique and very comfortable. Great time period items in the room - including a radio playing old 50s & 60s ads and music. We are traveling with dogs and it is amazingly pet friendly. Our dogs enjoyed having a chance to play on grass after dealing with nothing but sand and rocks the past few stops!
We were traveling east of Albuquerque on our first vacation together in the American West, looking for unique places to stay along old Route 66. Many motels had already closed their lobbies for the night, but we were able to book a room by phone at the Roadrunner. Definitely excedeed expectation!
We wanted to try one of the Route 66 motels in Tucumcari, and this one fit the bill! The room was clean and well-appointed. Although cozy, we loved the vibe the decor gave. The complementary RC Colas and Moon Pies were a nice touch. If we're ever though here again, it's definitely where we'll be staying!
This place is super clean and friendly!
