My experience with Road Scholars in Durham, NC, and specifically Javier Mercado, was absolutely awful. In my opinion, Javier was unprofessional, lazy, dismissive, and completely lacking in accountability. Dealing with him felt like trying to get basic honesty and effort out of someone who had no interest in doing the right thing.
