David was awesome! Very attentive and knowledgeable. I’m a veteran runner and mom of 2 young kids (plus I have worked shoes department for REI one upon a time) so I needed to be in and out on baby’s nap! David made it happen. The last time I had been to the store 18months ago, the sales person there was also very knowledgeable and I used those shoes and custom insoles during pregnancy and postpartum, worth every penny. Came in yesterday to get some shoes. Mentioned how my Novablast were ripping around the tongue. Team does their thing and determines I needed new inserts to go with my new shoes. The thing is I had inserts done here only two months ago. And the manager Jay said himself they were done “completely wrong”. Tell me why if they were done incorrectly - at this store- I was charged for a whole new pair of inserts. No reason I should have had to pay for their mistake.
