Nick and his company bailed us out when our previous lawn service essentially disappeared, and have done an excellent job of maintaining our lawn for more than a year. We appreciate that they have been extremely reliable and charge a fair price. We did request an extra service (mulching), and while the work was eventually completed, it took almost three months until it was done, and my husband and I feel we were overcharged for that service. Nick and his company bailed us out when our previous lawn service essentially disappeared, and did a good job of basic lawn maintenance for several months. However, two months ago, I inquired as to whether they could mulch the beds around our foundation. The price he quoted was double what we had paid the previous company, but it needed to be done, so I agreed. I also prepaid, as I knew he needed to purchase the materials. Nick did start out ok but he did some plants in my home and after a month one plant had died. It took him a year to replace it. This past December I noticed my grass was not looking so good so Nick suggested we get a filter for the sprinklers and also fertilize the grass, the filter was $700 and the fertilizer was $400. Nick insisted I pay him before year end because prices go up. So I did, so the filter was done but the fertilizer had not been done. Fast forward to now. On June 8th, 2024, I paid Nick Villano $150 over Zelle in advance for tree trimming and coconut/debris removal, which was supposed to be completed in the month of June. I was notified by my property manager that it never happened, and that RNJ was not always completing regular lawn care service for which I paid a monthly fee.
