Heads up if you are having any work done here. My son took his truck there to get it running. Rick, the owner calls him up to tell him it’s running and ready to be picked up. However, when my son arrives the next day, the truck won’t start. Not even a cough. Rick says it’s not his problem and won’t even come outside to offer assistance. Our truck broke down while we were visiting the Badlands, and we were in a tough spot. After calling about 10 different auto shops—most of which were booked out for two week—we finally found R&J Auto. They got us in right away. The staff was incredibly polite, understanding, and quick to assess the situation. It turned out to be the fuel pump. Towing travel trailer from Illinois on vacation and had engine issues. Reached out to RNJ and even though booked and busy before 4th of July weekend, Rick fit us in and did diagnostics so we could confirm what we were dealing with. As expected, needed engine replaced. Let us park our trailer at the shop and we returned home with rental. Rick called every couple of days with progress updates and when we came back out to pick it up, cost was as expected.
