we started talking to them about redoing our kitchen back in the winter and they were patient the whole time while we figured out what we actually wanted. took a few visits before we signed anything and nobody pushed us. once the work started things moved along at a good pace and they checked in with me regularly when choices needed to be made about cabinets and the layout. the finished kitchen looks nothing like the old one, way more open and functional now. glad we took our time picking the right people for this!

Had our kitchen redone and it turned out really well. The layout makes so much more sense now and we actually use the counter space instead of piling stuff on the table. When I was comparing quotes from a few different places in Chicago, Rome came in reasonable and they were clear about what was and wasn't included. Project ran about a week longer than the original estimate but they kept us in the loop the whole time. Happy we picked them for this one.
Our basement had been sitting there unused for years and we finally decided to turn it into something functional. Rome Remodeling put together a layout that made way more sense than what we had in mind originally. The whole space feels like an actual room now, not just a concrete box with drywall. Communication was easy and they stayed on schedule which I appreciated since we had guests coming the following month. Really glad we pulled the trigger on this one.
