Ron Mancuso is INCOMPETENCE at it's worst! I brought him in a starter from a vintage 6 volt car that I just bought. The mechanic diagnosed the slow cranking to being the starter. Ron flatly stated that there was nothing wrong with the starter despite it putting out only 2.5 volts from a brand new 6 volt battery. He didn't even do a bench test! He said all the mechanics are misdiagnosing the actual problem which he suspected was a bad ground. I called him telling him I want to pay for a rebuild. HE TOLD ME TO TAKE IT ELSEWHER... read more
No dice. Not recommended. Brought my ‘39 Ford starter in. Would have paid to get it correct. I left it, picked it up in pieces. Grumpy and not helpful.
Stead clear of the bad reviews, I have nothing but the up most respect for them, very professional and great pricing. Got my starter rebuilt for my 2020 Yamaha outboard 150. Dropped it off 9am ish for a phone call at 1030/11 am same day upon drop off. If I could give 10 stars I would. They even put the old parts from the rebuild in the bag.

Would NEVER recommend this business. Wish I could leave 0 stars. Unprofessional, rude, and terrible workmanship. Go elsewhere or be prepared to be overcharged and utterly disappointed.
