I've been to a couple different auto repair places in town and this one takes the crown for sure. After taking on the oil pan repair myself, I messed up my oil filter cooler, which resulted in a small leak, and then a very large leak. I had to get it towed, and a friend of mine recommended R&M. I called them, and although they couldn't make it work at first, they called me back after rearranging their schedule and got me in. The transparent and honest auto repair you wished for. If it's not worth repairing your old car, they'll just tell you so. I had a 20 year old car and told them if was gonna cost more that 6 car payments to fix it call me. They called anyway
New review: My car battery was not holding the charge at idle and it would just turn itself off. Road side assistance tried to jump it but we had no luck, he said the alternator is shot. I called Mike and told him the car was being towed to the shop. After diagnosing the issue, he charged the battery overnight and everything is working now! No alternator issue. I asked how much it would be and he said "No charge, we didn't really do much". Like I have said before, if you have a mechanic you trust, stick with him. R&M, thanks... read more
