Our new home was built in 2015, being finished that August. A few months later, our floors started to make terrible creaking/cracking noises. We were told this was due to our bamboo flooring, even though it also happened under our carpet. RLKB suggested we purchase a whole-home humidifier, which we did. It did not help the issue. We paid to have a wood flooring inspector take a look at the issue. He agreed that the sounds we were hearing were not normal and should be addressed.
