I’d never deal with RKS Electric or Blair ever again. I was quoted between $250-$350 and when I received my invoice, it was $578. I did call back as the switch they installed wasn’t working properly, but all I received back were excuses and then he said it couldn’t be set to stay on…I’m not a electrician, but I fixed the problem myself. They set an appointment for 4:30pm, but arrived around 7:15pm with no phone call , so I just asked him to leave…I’ll get the switch fixed myself. October 8th/2023 RKS Electric were called to check our Generac for a possible engine issue. A Service Person attended, didn’t appear to know anything about this unit. He changed oil, spark plug and filters, which had been done a few months prior, advised Service Person of that, he replied it was a process of elimination, he proceeded to overfill the engine with fresh oil and was about to add more till I told him I had checked the dipstick and it had too much oil in already and ended up draining some of the excess oil. Today I called RKS because a breaker in my panel blew and I needed an electrician to take it apart to replace it. They let me know their electricians are booked with jobs everyday for the next 2-3weeks. When I let them know the breaker was for the water pump to my well and I had no water coming into my house at all, I can’t even flush a toilet, they said give me a minute and I’ll call you back.
