We called about 2 Jeeps on the lot and drove 2 hours after he confirmed that they were available to check out. We showed up with the full cash in hand ready to purchase. Only to be told they don't allow test drives until after a vehicle is purchased. I've never been to a dealership that expects you to buy based on looks. Only a shady dealer would want you to sign paperwork without knowing how a vehicle runs.
