I few days ago I took my Mercedes CLK 430 to RJ'D Custom V-Twin shop to have my new tires installed on my car. I specifically told the guys that the front and back tires are different sizes and so are the rims. I bought my car brand new and these are the stock rims that it has. Many other cars have the back rims bigger than the front ones and it is reasonably forseable that the larger tire should go to the larger rim.
