Bought a polo from this garage in April and 2 weeks after having it I had to spend £200 to get it towed back to them to have a look as the car was burning litres of oil internally. Asked for a refund but they tried ‘fixing’ the car but was told that there was ‘nothing wrong with it’ and that ‘it’s an old car’ and I gave them the benefit of a doubt. 5 days after picking it up had to get the AA out to come look at the car as it had gone through a full tank of oil in 5 days and the engine didn’t sound right. I bought a car from R&J car sales in west vale Halifax a few years ago which I believe is the same car sales company which is now trading in Brighouse. The car I bought lasted less than a month and I received no resolution from R&J ! They behaved terribly and completely unprofessional and I was completely ripped off!! Had I not been able to claim my money back from the bank I would’ve been completely out of pocket!! Do not trust!! Avoid!!!
