He missed my Cancer... Went to him when he was with U of M Ann Arbor, for a couple of years. My symptoms got to the point that it was becoming urgent. He offered medical marijuana to help with one of my symptoms which was severe nausea, which I refused due my job. He did performed a colonoscopy but failed to biopsy the anal tumor that was clearly seen. I was finally chose to be seen at Henry Ford Columbus Center, and was diagnosed (stage 2 rectal cancer), started chemo/radiation all within a month. Please be your own advocat... read more
Abusive, but I want to honor cultural differences & maybe he just treats women differently due to growing up in an Arab nation. Waited over an hour & half to be seen & he comes in with a condescending attitude. Misdiagnosed me, essentially told me that my inability to eat/ severe nausea/ vomiting was simply "stress". Turns out I had GI issues due to recent virus & multiple rounds of strong antibiotics including a medication error committed by his colleagues at U of M which he did a brilliant job of covering for.
He changed my life +!+ It was, and always, worth the wait!
If I could give zero stars I would. This man misdiagnosed me and was a condescending jerk at our second meeting. After following his poor advise and asking for a different treatment he denied my request - luckily my GP listens and sent me to Huron Gastro by St. Joes - what an outstanding place that is.
