We stopped in this this during a day trip to an appointment in Kansas City, and this was in the way. Truned out to be a really nice little restaurant for a solid breakfast or brunch plate. For a restaurant in a small plaza, it had a pretty colorful vibe with upper and lower level seating and unique colors and decor. Our server was very cordial and willing to suggest options for food. I'll start with the positive: our server was very nice. However, the meal itself was highly disappointing. The server didn't listen closely to my order and assumed I wanted sourdough bread (which I hate) without asking. When the food arrived, the eggs were clearly not real eggs. Even after they were replaced with real ones, they were undercooked. The hash browns were also undercooked, leaving me with bites of completely raw potato, so I couldn't even finish them. 7 of us visited for Sunday breakfast Fairly busy. Plenty of staff. Our food orders were varied. Pancakes huge "ok" Sausage and egg biscuit was patty topped with scope of scrambled egg. Impossible to eat as sandwich. Spinach on my benedict was cooked and seasoned,did not go well with cold hollandise sauce.
We enjoyed the breakfast we tried. It was all fresh and tasted good. The service was great. Only a little feedback for the kitchen, the server entered the order correctly, as hashbrowns, and we both got potatoes.
Benedict was delicious!
