This was extremely disappointing. I have been coming here for years, and since I now live in Savannah, I was excited to return for lunch during my visit. I didn’t realize the restaurant had been sold. The Portuguese steak was always my favorite dish, but what I was served this time was nothing like I remembered. This is my grandparents fav restaurant that they order fish & chips from every Friday night. It has been our family staple for years, and the owners treat my grandparents like family. Their enclosed greenhouse seating is very sweet atmosphere, and of course we love the Portuguese ode Last time we went, Dee and I got 2 different Bacalhau‘s to taste test: (1) Grilled Codfish ~ Bacalhau Grelhado with chickpeas that ended up being a full fish with sides and (2) Codfish Gomes Sa ~ Bacalhau `a Gomes Sá that was shredded.
