Update Sunday Jan 21, 2024. Closed today. The Bakehouse will open Monday Jan 22 for 5 days, closing permanently on Friday Jan 26. Update: Dec. 31, 2023 - sadly this location will close at the end of Jan 2024. Customers are responding by buying more - bread frequently sells out by 8:00 am. Outstanding dill bread baked daily. If you want to buy a loaf plan to arrive before 8:00, 7:00 is even better. Early mornings are always busy here.
For years a small group is is have met for our birthdays and we always got the stock birthday cake. It is the absolute best!
Taking off one star because they are shuttering the Ardsley store and focusing on the new Tarrytown location. Ardsley has litterally been your bread and butter for 70+ years, and while we understand all good things must come to an end eventually, it's still very sad nonetheless. Riviera is, and forever will be, beloved by Ardsley.....even though you are abandoning us for our chicer cousin Rivertown ;) Its also worth noting that this is a "fancy" Westchester bakery where you can easily drop $100 on a small cake if you're not ... read more
