Ruvian- Newbury: The staff was disappointing. Not very knowledgeable. Atmosphere not friendly or welcoming! I thought I was getting a premium car with premium experience. They keep talking about the Rivian Culture... Where is it???
50/50 you get really bad customer service. I go into this location every now and then because i’m a big fan of Rivian but one of the rudest most unprofessional car salesmen i’ve ever met works there. I believe his name is Michael. I have been in a dozen or so times and i have not heard or had a positive interaction with him even once. I feel misled on the price — and honestly, I didn't see this coming. As a DTC brand, I expected a straightforward buying experience, not the kind of bait-and-switch you'd find at a traditional dealership. This was the worst customer service I have encountered, like they were really trying that I never buy a Rivian in my life. If this is the customer service before I bought the car, I wonder what it is like once I have bought it.
Came in today to get some answers of a car I want to purchase but the fact that no one came to help me seems so odd. They were just on their phones at the table and I was just left to wondering 🤔. I did like they had the cars in the office to actually see what I been wanting to see. They need to hire new people with better attention to customers despite how they look.
