I had cracked panoramic glass on my 2025 Rivian R1S (11k miles - 6 mos. old). The crack was on the interior pane; in other words, no crack from the outside. Service manager took a 2 second look at the car and said there was an impact and would not be covered under warranty. Complete BS! Nothing ever touched the glass… it had never even been cleaned. I had read on Rivian forums that they consistently do no warranty the cracks that this glass seem to have quite regularly. Do yourself a favor and buy a different car.
Gonna buy an R2 when they come out and these guys help cement that thought for my wife and I. No one here is a car salesperson, they aren’t on commission. They “teach” the in and outs of owning an EV - we learned a lot on our visit! If I have a question, I can just text Scott and I get an answer a straight answer back
Stopped in to test drive an R1S with my wife. Chaz was super helpful and knowledgeable. He helped show us around the car, specifically the features we were most interested in. He was also respectful of our time which we most appreciated.
Damn Rivians are sweet cars, but the issues off the line with a brand new rivian are ridiculous. My car had spent half of the first month in the shop and every step of the way i have to argue for a tiny bit of help and ownership of the issues. My car is still broken. Also this dealership overcharged me almost $3k in taxes and has yet to issue the check (which i also had to hound them for). We’ll see if it ever actually arrives. Watch your money folks, they’ll take it from your account without approval.
I’ve had my truck in twice in two years; despite how busy they are now, these guys are professionals, and the warranty has been a true blessing. Thank you Rivian Team!!
