Erin who is in charge of safety as you wait to be led to your boat is professional, curious and top notch. She came out to visit with us and asked if we found her rude. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! ☆☆☆☆ If I could give zero stars, I would. My family (father, uncle, cousins, sister) and I have been renting boats from Rivett’s for as long as I can remember. The new owner of this boat rental is by far the rudest business owner I’ve ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, she was intimidating and dismissive, talking down to customers like we were a nuisance rather than paying guests. Our extended family group of 10 rented an amazing pontoon boat there this week! The staff was very friendly and the customer service was excellent. We have rented from another boat rental company in the past but Rivett’s is way better! We would definitely rent there again!
Seemed ok but really not that helpful. Showed up with 3 people (2 parents and a kid under 8yo), expecting the normal "tandem kayak fits 2" situation. At any point they could have pointed out their tandems fit 3 people, but they seemed happy to take our money and not inform us of that at any point. We figured it out mid-paddle. Only show in town for kayaks, and they have a decent launch site but could really work on being more friendly and helpful.
