Went in to get a MRI. The place was dead but still had to wait around 30 minutes. Put in MRI machine for 30 minutes. It was so loud!!! I was covering my ears with my hands and mouthing to the camera for help. When it finally ended I immediately asked “why in the hell wasn’t I offered ear protection?” The tech said he offered it to me, then changed to he though he did, then added that there is nothing he can do about it now, with little emotion. Fabulous, helpful, friendly staff. Prompt service. Modern facilities and equipment. If you have the chance to opt for this facility rather than an er/urgent care, I highly recommend it.
Don’t use if you’re in a car accident. I was involved in a car accident and used Riverwoods imaging. It’s been a drawn out case and despite multiple requests from myself and my lawyer, the billing department continues to call me for updates. Why not call the lawyer for updates when that’s specifically in the notes? I don’t know.
