Horrible experience i went in for a intake and they were rude to me instantly tried pushing medication on me, flat out rude. I have had previous experiences with their medication which they call "inhibitors" and they did not go well. As a matter of fact they have to have a person go there to make sure riverwood is treating you right. Well why is the court mandating riverwood if its known to be bad? Was told I was unable to do my appt without consent forms. Was there doing intake for my child and someone barged in saying I wouldn't have time to do my intake even though I arrived at my appt time. My first appt was a telehealth- and the link didnt come thru to my email until AFTER my appt time, so I assumed appt was canceled. Now I'm being told I have to leave my job to come and do a "sit and wait" and basically wait for someone else to no show their appt because I am considered a no show even after contacting them statin... read more
Initial intake for my son I did not like the clinician. He was cold a bit robotic, didn't seem to care about our concerns. The intake for my daughters was great. The talk therapists have been about what I'd expect for CMH services. Not great, but not terrible. The psych I ended up with, Dr. Tamer has been wonderful, one of the first I've had that actually listens to my concerns and takes my history into account without holding it against me. This place misdiagnosed me and medically gaslit me for so long, trying to tell me I had a mental disease when it was in fact a physical one. They did not listen to me, they left me in pain, and they ruined my body with a variety of very serious medications they ran through me which messed up my body. Horrible! Carla the nurse very unprofessional and not knowledgeable of her job. It so sad to see crack deals going down in the parking lot. Advise to NOT SEE CARLA AT ALL. Recovery coaches on methadone makes no sense………
