Love this place!! We stayed Aug 2023. We are waiting to make another reservation.
We loved our weekend here and plan to use it as our base whenever we return to this area. It's a charming old building that was exuberantly decorated for Christmas, with multiple cozy seating areas where guests could relax by the fire, that couldn't help but fill you with good cheer. Even better was our nice quiet room and the tasty breakfasts we were served each morning, with unique homemade touches and delicious locally ground coffee. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the riverwind inn!! We stayed for a mini Christmas-y newly wed weekend and it was perfect in every way. We got to spend time in mystic and Chester CT but the best part was staying cozy in our room by the fire! Make sure you eat the bacon at breakfast… OUT OF THIS WORLD!
This is our third time visiting in 3 years and we can't wait to go back! It's our favorite bed and breakfast.
