Edit: Jan 2020 — tried to book a room online but kept getting an error. Emailed and was informed that the Riverwalk Vista is closed for business. :( **** I've stayed at a number of hotels in walking distance to the convention center, and this is definitely my favorite. Friendly and helpful staff, awesome air conditioning that totally blocks out noise from the street, spacious and clean rooms, excellent walk-in shower, and easy access to the Riverwalk and convention center. I will definitely stay here again!
This is a fantastic little gem. I am a frequent traveler and stay at all sorts of paces, from fancy downtown jw Marriotts to boutique hotels, and Westins. I would say vista falls more in the boutique hotel category but is still distinct in its own rights. The furniture, decor and the building itself are all dozens of years old yet functional. Great boutique hotel. Very central location great people great room. If you are going to convention center this is the place to stay
Love this place! Very nice rooms, super cozy. Great local right on the River Walk. Parking is tricky but worth it. Been several times, will go again!
