I brought my 2019 RAV4 to Berge Toyota for routine maintenance. They performed the maintenance and informed me that the transmission was due for a fluid change as well. Avoid these scammers. I brought my car in to get the hood fixed because it wouldn’t open. After inspection, I was told the cable was stretched and needed to be replaced (fair enough). Then came the upsell: coolant, brake fluid, and a list of other services they claimed were “urgent.” I agreed, assuming they’d also fix the actual reason I came in. Had an appointment but was told it would be 48 hours before they'd diagnose my problem, then repair time if they could duplicate it. What's the point of an appointment if you're not going to look at my truck for 2 days?
