Just recently came into Riverview’s ER with symptoms of appendicitis. I was quickly brought back and had labs and a ct scan done confirming an appendicitis diagnosis. My nurse Jessica was wonderful, explained everything, and had great bedside manner, and was extremely kind. The surgeon ( Dr.Vibeto) got me in to surgery quickly, explaining everything and was just overall a very genuine man. He made me feel safe and well taken care of. If I could rate it a zero I would. Spent over an hour here with my child with a broken arm. They took x rays to confirm it was broken and sent us elsewhere and said the other hospital would be aware we were coming, only to get to the other hospital for them to inform us that the X-rays from the other hospital were not good, and that they had made a mistake when inputting our name, so we had to spend more time waiting due to their screw ups. You’re better off going elsewhere the first time
My appointment was in the Infusion center. The lady that draws blood is an amazing person, very kind and friendly.
I want to document my frustrating experience with Riverview Hospital regarding my upcoming surgery. Today, they initially called me to set up my surgery, only to later inform me that they could only pencil me in because they were uncertain about my discharge plan. In response, I reassured them that I had already spoken with my aunt, who agreed to take me home if needed.
