We have worked with Chris from Riverview on a custom home design project. Chris was eager to get involved early, and helped suggest and influence a number of the design elements, such as roofing design to deal with the freeze/thaw cycles in Calgary. He was very thoughtful at suggesting ways to effectively manage costs through smart choices in key elements like windows and cladding. We are sharing our experience as homeowners who worked with Riverview Custom Homes. A previous negative review was left but forced to be deleted or he wouldn’t come back to resolve issues but it’s now been 3 years and several original deficiencies remain. Although a management fee was charged, in our experience there was limited on-site oversight during construction, and after possession we had to manage multiple warranty issues ourselves. Chris is a true visionary when it comes to home building. His attention to detail is second to none. I would not hesitate recommending him to anyone doing a custom build!
