The cottage feels spacious and features a modern bathroom. The feeling of being a world away was incredible, and the reliable WiFi came in handy when needed. The firewood and fireplace added a cozy touch to the entire experience.
Great views, proper bbq and wood heater.
Bad experience. Felt like they were really trying to cut down on costs. The oven and stove didn’t work properly. The beds were so uncomfortable we all woke up with bad backs. We ended up leaving a day early.
Our experience was a retreat that was dirty, unclean, very poorly maintained and generally unwelcoming for guests. Shame because it is in a great bush location with stunning views. Constructive feedback in detail has been provided to the owner in person and followed up in writing. I should note we were very appreciative of the owner being accommodating in allowing us to re-schedule to another date because of the 2019/20 bushfires.
