if you are somewhat new to the world of coin collecting, this place is not for you. he is going to be in your face all the time wanting to "help you". did not want to let me "just look around" the guy is retired, and i am guessing whatever he retired from, was not a job that requires customer service. had quite a chip on his shoulder and clearly did not need my business.

Had the opportunity to meet Brad while traveling in IL. he has been great to do business with. I am glad I found this coin store to trade with. ThanksACL

This is a very professional coin shop. Ive go an hour and a half out of my way to go here, especially for precious metal purchases, because they charge only a slim premium over spot price. And if you want to trade smaller bullion for larger, they will do it even-steven, no charge.

Ive received nothing but kindness & sincerity from both the gentlemen in the shop. Always willing to lend a helping hand & help to educate any youth or adults trying to get invested in the coin industry. Consistent service from people always willing to lend a helping hand. Brad Forret has made it clear that hes able to take over a pre existing coins shop that has only grown since he took it over August of 09. Im a pleased customer & will continue to devote my buisness strictly to Riverview Coins.

This company was the only coin dealer Ive visted within Illinois and Iowa that wanted to charge for a collection appraisal. Then, after I made it clear I was in no way interested in paying \$50 an hour for someone to look at a book to appraise my coins, they were fairly rude. Very unprofessional; they apparently dont understand the concept of customer service.
