They don't have enough staff first off. 2 staff member in a hall of 16 men with dementia is just not adequate. I felt they were not taking care of my family member, I was hardly ever informed, they didn't make him drink fluids. A nurse didn't use the sterile technique and my family member ended up with MRSA.

The staff must have not been trained very well. Almost every time I would ask them a question, they'd refer me to their boss or someone else. The person they refered me to didn't know anything either. They were far to arrogant to get any sort of outside advice, even though they knew they should. I was hoping to see someone that considered my safety more important than always having an answer.
