I was a regular customer, as I have 2 dogs. I had to put 2 animals down all within a week of each other and was charged $300 more for the second one than I was the first. Yes their vets and their staff are very nice people, but their prices are way out of reach for the average person to look after their fur babies
Took our guinea pig to the emergency section of the veterinary hospital. Was received and seen right away, the veterinarian on-call had limited prior dealings with guinea pigs, but was very thorough and her examination, and had good advice and suggestions to move forward with. X-rays and blood were taken, and after all that was given the path to try to move forward with. Had an unexpected visit to this vet hospital and my experience from start to successful conclusion was superior to many vet visits I have had over the years. The staff were very friendly. The doctors were very helpful and compassionate. They answered the phone every time I called for an update. Overall, while I hope I don’t have to visit them under similar circumstances, I know that if I do visit I will be treated with compassion and respect.
Riverview Animal Health Centre is the only 24/7 animal hospital in the greater moncton area. As such, it offers specialized, emergency services on a 24-hour a day basis. This service comes at an exponentially higher premium than regular non emergency veterinary care. Numerous years ago, RAHC saved my cat's life after diagnosing him with a potentially fatal urinary blockage.
