We woke up on a Sunday to one of our cats not being able to walk.....he was letting us know it was "time". This choice is the hardest & most heart breaking choice to have to make for your pet. I called Rivertown Veterinary Emergency and the woman who answered the phone was the most compassionate person who helped arrange for us to come in and been seen right away. I want to thank the staff for everything I brought my dog in thinking he was just a little congested but turns out he had congested heart failure which I didn’t think he would ever get I know in some cases you see signs but my dog has always been a healthily dog but when I found out it was to the point he was suffering I made the choice to have him put down and this is where I think the staff no matter how hard I cried when they finished with him they still had compassion for me after my lose so thank you Rivertown veterinar... read more
I brought my 9 week old pup yesterday 1/11/26 because he was lethargic not eating or drinking, vomiting etc. I was met at the door with such kindness from all of the stuff. They made my little guy feel as comfortable as they could given the circumstances! The vet was so kind and helpful. I love that she walked me through everything and explained what she was doing and why. My little pup made it through the night which may have not been the case if they hadn’t seen him! I want to start by saying that New Years was such a horrible day! My husband & I’s son (8 year old pitbull named Boss) took a turn for the worse! He was battling mast cell tumor cancer & it was about to rupture. He was not doing well at all. We called over 20 vets and couldn’t get anyone on the phone! My cat got hit by a car or something. I was distraught. I had to pay a fee upfront but then I got some of it back. The Doctor Kim was amazing. She explained things clearly. The staff treated my baby with the upmost care. Thank y'all! 🙌🏾
