What a fantastic find on our leisurely drive through the beautiful "river town" of Riverton (see what I did there? ). Founded in 1865, the Riverton Yacht Club is the oldest such organization in New Jersey and on the Delaware River. As their narrative explains, they are "first and foremost a sailboat racing club," with over 175 members and various racing fleets specific to boat types and classes.
