We also have the same story --hired Josiah aka Jo Gouin from the St Thomas home show--as Dreams Exteriors Canada. He took all the money and never finished the job-he ghosted us and we had to pay someone else to fix the job - ideally it would have been redone, but we could not afford that after all the money we paid Josiah. He has had bad reviews taken off Facebook. Do not hire him! I wish we had not!
I am beyond sad and disheartened by Riverson Construction. Do your research ask for references. Clearly identify timelines and money owed for work/service. I was over promised and under delivered. Worse company I have ever employed. I was advised their would be a project manager on site to over see all work. I was also advised the work would take 1 week to complete. Be very cautious - these positive reviews are mostly fake. He is a terrible business owner. He mismanaged our project from start to finish under the name Dream Exteriors. Josiah (Joe) left trail of countless - literally- unfinished jobs, deposits and payments made for a jobs not completed. There is no way someone with that little integrity is doing such an amazing job for some and is so terrible for others. My job was paid in full and he still didnt want to complete it. BEWARE Riverson Construction is just Dream Exteriors from London rebranded in St. Thomas. Owners Josiah and Courtney Gouin ripped off many London families out of thousands of dollars, left homes damaged and unfinished. Many unpaid vendors and workers. He's skipped town, on & closed Dream Exteriors. Now he's started Riverson Construction. He's going by 'Joe Gouin' to get around all this. He took us for a few thousand and ghosted us.
